This policy explains how HAMR1 LLC, an Alabama limited liability company doing business as NearbyPick (“NearbyPick,” “we,” or “us”), handles information when you use nearbypick.com and related services. Business address: 3014 Dauphine St, Ste A #46443, New Orleans, LA 70117. Contact: support@nearbypick.com.
We never sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account details: email address, optional name, company name, and the business locations you add.
- Scan inputs: business name, category, city or address, optional website, and the email used for the report.
- Scan outputs: AI answers we retrieve for your prompts, scores, recommendations, and a robots.txt reading when a website is provided.
- Optional product-email consent: if you check the product-email box, we store the time you consented, which form you used, and your IP address. That box starts unchecked. The scan report does not depend on it.
- Billing identifiers from Stripe (customer and subscription IDs). Card numbers are handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Technical logs needed to run and secure the service (for example, request times and error codes).
How we use information
- To run scans, show your dashboard, and send account, billing, and scan-complete emails.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
- To send product updates and newsletters only when you have opted in, with an unsubscribe link on every message.
- To respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
How long we keep it
- Scan results are kept for 12 months. Report links work for those 12 months, then stop.
- A trial with no card pauses on day 14. Paused trial data is kept for 30 days, then deleted. If a Stripe subscription exists on that account, we cancel it when that window ends.
- If a paid subscription's payment retries fail, Stripe marks it unpaid and we pause the account. That unpaid pause is kept for 30 days, then deleted. Adding a card voids the old failed invoice and starts a new billing period.
- After a paid customer cancels, we keep account data for 90 days, then delete it.
Deletion requests
Email support@nearbypick.com to request deletion. We confirm within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for tax, fraud prevention, or legal requirements.
Sharing and processors
We share data with service providers only as needed to run NearbyPick. We do not sell personal information. Our subprocessors include:
- Vercel — hosting
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payments
- Postmark — transactional and opted-in email delivery
- Google Workspace — team email
- Cloudflare — DNS and domain services
- OpenAI, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Anthropic — AI scan queries
Marketing email
Marketing and newsletter messages go only to people who opted in. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address, as required by CAN-SPAM. Transactional messages (sign-in, billing, scan reports) are separate from marketing.
Security
We use industry-standard protections appropriate for a small SaaS service, including encrypted connections and access limited to people and systems that need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
NearbyPick is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
